What is an appliance garage?

An appliance garage is a cabinet that is typically installed underneath wall cabinets or tucked in the corner of a cabinet in a space that would otherwise be unused. They are used to keep smaller appliances and other items off the countertops, freeing up more workspace. Appliance garages can have shutter or cabinetry door fronts and the doors can often be rolled up like a real garage door.
